Assignments

These are common assignments made for my English education students in the Education Program at East Carolina University.

All assignments must

be completed by the due date specified in the syllabus.
turned in as a hard copy (please do not use email)
include a print out of the assignment rubric
be turned in with the following heading in the left hand side of the assignment (all essays must, in addition, include a personal title from the student)
- John Doe
- Name of the Assignment (and # if appropriate)
- Name of the Class
- Date Completed
be legible

Any assignment that does not meet the requirements stated above will be returned ungraded.

Assignment dates are noted on the syllabus and also on the digital calendar for the course. If you are unable to turn in an assignment on time, your grade will be lowered at the discretion of the instructor. Please do not turn the assignment in until the following week, using the folder system described in class. Do not give me your only copy of the assignment. Finally, please save your work after it has been evaluated and returned to you.
